The Epic Metals Corporationsponsors an architectural competition each January, open to third-year students at the CMU School of Architecture. Epic Metals is a producer of innovative solar and structural aluminum products, and is based in Rankin, PA. Participants must use Epic products and are given two days to complete the charette.
This year, the program called for a bridge that linked a proposed CMU campus expansion with the existing campus.
I worked with my frequent collaborator Leto Karatsolis-Chanikian to come up with a unique solution to an architecturally simple problem.
