Greensburg Digital Media Center

The Greensburg Digital Media Center was designed as place to learn and work; a library without books.

Greensburg is a small city southwest of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The town center needs a targeted investment to reactivate it’s core. I proposed the Greensburg Digital Media Center, which would act as meeting place and attract both nearby Seton Hill University students and residents of the adjacent Penn Towers Retirement Facility. This “third space” would host classrooms, digital libraries, a theater, and exhibition spaces to bring all demographics together. Visitors can learn or enhance their skills in computing in an inclusive environment, complete with a circulatory system of accessible ramps and classrooms.
